Robots learn better by watching you than by watching other robots
A new study trained robots on 5,000 hours of video shot from people's own eyes. Those robots beat robots trained on robot video. The gap was biggest on tasks the robots had never seen before.
The number that matters: The people-trained robot kept a 90% success rate on objects it had never seen. The robot with no video training fell from 40% to 0%.
